Flash: Domain Alert!

Since the popularity of this blog has grown (a bit, but enough to satisfy my ego for the time being) I thought it was a good time to give it a proper eh.. name. So, ladies and gents, I present to you DiscreteVector.com.

All right, all right… enough of the boos from the gallery. CodeWidgets.com was taken and I was sleepy and tired and godaddy was telling me that all words in the English dictionary were had all gone to cyber squatters and the rest to Microsoft. I picked up a technology mag from my desk and I grabbed discrete from one page and vector from another and the rest is history. Who knows, this might turn in to something bigger.

For now, www.discretevector.com will redirect you here.

Now for a logo. Contributions anyone?

Cheers,
Alex

Bobby, this is an out-of-context question. Sorry for that. When i read from the database i am getting a BLOB data type FROM WHICH i can only retrieve a byte[]. I want this byte[] to be “casted” to a string without “converting” it into a string (since in fact it is an encrypted string). Do we have any Marshal function to do this or any way out. (You might ask to make an sql call, but i want to avoid the sql call). Thanks

I want this byte[] to be “casted” to a string without “converting” it into a string – What exactly does this mean?
